I think I want to bring another pet to the house. My fiancĂ© is in love with animals and the girls love pets too. I was thinking more of a dog, but I’m afraid no one will want to walk it.
They already have two cats and a hamster so I’m not bringing in another cat. The girls seemed in love with these couple of Ferrets that we saw at PETCO.
I heard Ferrets are a big smelly and messy, I’m not sure how true this is since people have their own opinions. We’ll see, I think I’m not sure which way I’ll go, but I’m sure whichever way it is, the girls will absolutely love the new addition to the family. Feel free to comment if you have any suggestions. I really want to get creative too, but not as creative as getting a pet lizzard or snake. You know how girls tend to be, but I'm sure it will end up being a pet Hamster....

Easy way OUT!
People are usually looking for the easy way out of things. I ran into my friend Angel this morning and he created himself a monter! He was trying to drive his car with a flat tire until he made it to the mechanic instead of just replacing the tire himself. Next thing you know it I found him on Day Street in Jamaica Plain, MA with his tire caught on fire.
He could’ve really caused some major damage and maybe even death. The tire that caught on fire was the left rear one, right under the gas tank. He really dissapointed me by this, he not only put himself in danger, but others as well.
People need to think of things rationally before just thinking of saving time and energy. This could’ve really gotten out of hand, and he could’ve been responsible for his life or someone elses.
Napping: Sweet Dreams
I think when we do have them Sweet Dreams we are just so refreshed in the mornings. A week ago Saturday, I couldn’t sleep during the night time. It made it extremely difficult for me to get up early to bring my oldest to work, but I did. I had gotten a coffee and still I was lacking sleep. I was going on a couple of errands with my baby cousin, but she delayed it until the afternoon.
After taking a nice shower and washing my hair and knowing that my cousin and I were going out later in the day, I decided to try and take a quick nap. Wow, I tell ya…. After a couple of hours of napping, I felt so refreshed. I was able to go out with my cousin do the errands and I still had tons of energy for more activities which I did enjoy throughout the afternoon and evening.
Needless to say, If you do not catch up on your Z's you will be very MISERABLE and SLEEPY; it’s just NO FUN at all!!!
I'm All Set
My opinion of I’m all set is when someone is comfortable with where they are in life. When they have achieved all their goals, dreams and aspirations. To be an independent and successful individual and possess a powerful mind and be able to initiate leadership and have people follow you because of your talents, uniqueness and caring personality to all human kind.
bills, bills, bills and where's the "Sweet life"?
I think I was born to be rich and have all the amenities I could imagine of, but sometimes I feel as though would that change the person I am today? Sometimes I feel as though I shouldn’t be struggling so much, I should be financially set and living in my own home with a circular driveway, but how the heck will I ever make it to the sweet life, if all I keep doing is paying my way towards living on a month to month basis?
The sweet life isn’t all that it’s put out to be sometimes I feel as though I work my ass off for nothing. To simply pay off bills and live in an apartment with no amenities what so ever.
If you ask me, I’m a bit tired of living by every check. I want to make something out of the normal daily routine, but it’s just so damn hard you know especially when you have kids and one of those kids is actually so close to college and driving to be more exact! So I figure when she gets her license that will be another monthly expense to put her on my insurance, and then to be more accurate it will be another bigger expense to fill her gas tank too.
Now.. If you ask me, when will the sweet life start heading my way? I mean seriously it seems like it’s only going to get worse financially speaking, but I know I will be able to manage, but then I feel as my dreams of my circular driveway or living in a beautiful home with a picket fence and a dog to wander around the yard is not so close at all. I wonder if my closing my eyes and clicking my heels together I can make it all come true.

Drunk Driving Accident
One time, my girlfriend and I went clubbing to a very popular club called Vincent’s. We walked out of there TRASHED! I was so messed up, I had no idea were my car was. After finding it, for one second only, I thought maybe I shouldn’t be driving, but of course another part of me thought, sure, I’m fine! And so we headed on home, shoes thrown to the back seat, and off we went. Now, if you ask me how my driving was or how I got us home that morning, I still have no clue whatsoever. Guys, I couldn’t remember what route, or how the hell we got home.
The one thing I know is that we got home safe. Now a day I call this type of behavior, SELFISH and just plain STUPID!!
January 18, 2002 was an evening like any other. It was about seven, I was just relaxing after a long days work. That night, I received the most FRIGHTENING of calls, My sister yelling and screaming against my ear. My nerves just didnt know how to function or react. After some screams back & forth, I found out my parents were in a MAJOR CAR ACCIDENT. FIREMEN had been struggling to get my dad who was caved in the car out. The FIREMEN feared the worse, since my dads’ car had been smoking.
Getting to the scene of the accident must have been no more than 10 minutes. Unfortunately, those were the longest 10 minutes of my life. Fearing the worse is what one does in this case. When we got to the scene of the accident, I had to argue back & forth with the cops. I wanted to go see my parents and aide to their needs. I wasn’t allowed to go see my parents; this made it incredibly difficult for myself, as well as my children.
Later that night, we got to the hospital were both my parents were taken to. I was able to see my mom and assist her as much as possible. Course, I couldn’t help her much in her 3 FRACTURED RIBS, CUTS, BLEEDING & MAJOR BRUISINGS. I feared the worse for my dad. I was told he was in worse shape than my mom. Fortunately, after learning my dad had 4 BROKEN RIBS, LEFT BROKEN CLAVICLE BONE (shoulder), BROKEN RIGHT LEG, SHATTERED RIGHT HEEL IN 5 PLACES, AND SOME MAJOR BRUISING & needed a 4 hour surgery, I was happy & Thankful because God allowed them to live through it. God gave us the strength & faith to guide each other through it all.
This was the act of a DRUNK DRIVER. A person who knew what they were doing, aware of it, allowed himself in front of a wheel and endangered 2 human beings, who because of his negligent act, caused them so much damage. My parents will always suffer pain because of this irresponsible person. Not only are they suffering internal & external pain, but emotional as well. My moms fear of driving a car or just panicking every time some one cuts us off in traffic is permanent and unfortunately inevitable. The loss of both their jobs, and the state denying them for help has been very difficult. The fact that my dad had to learn how to walk like an infant & hasn’t walked or felt the same ever since has been hard on all of us. Even though the hardship, I am still so very thankful to God for allowing them to LIVE & be the PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, UNCLE & AUNT, BROTHER & SISTER, & FRIENDS they are today. My friends, after going through all this and still having difficulties on this road of recovery, I beg you, DO NOT DRINK & DRIVE.
As you can see, it not only places your life at risk, but the lives of others. A Father, a Mother, a Baby, Young Children, Young adults, Elderly, your Best Friend, Your Mother, Your Father, your Husband, Your Wife or your own Son or Daughter, could end up CRITICAL or unfortunately DEAD. Is it worth it?
I’m grateful that this person didnt take my parents lives, even though he was so close to it. Next time you’re out clubbing, having the greatest time of your life, keep it that way. Take a cab or call a friend. Do anything other than placing yourself in front of that wheel. The money you spend on a CAB can be the BEST expenditure of that night. See, my girlfriend and I were lucky that one time. Did I have an Angel looking out for us? Ill never know. I am Thankful for getting us home safe. I am also thankful for the different mentality I now have. I will never take a wheel under the influence again. I will never ever risk my life or the lives of others.
The following are real pictures of my parents’ vehicle after the crash. I still get stomach ache & nerves when I see them: If by this hour of typing and putting this little section together helps save one life, I feel most rewarded.
