Getting pregnant while having your period is possible

Can you get Pregnant if you have sex during your period?

Unfortunately, many women of all ages believe that if a Girl has sex during her period, she will not fall pregnant, that she isn’t fertile and it just could not happen!
But even though this belief and rumour is well spread and very common, it is absolutely POSSIBLE for a girl to become pregnant when she is menstruating (bleeding).

There a number of reasons why this can happen:
Not all vaginal bleeding is the result of a menstrual period. Sometimes a girl will bleed from her Vagina at the actual time of ovulation - the time when the egg is released from one of the body’s ovaries and then travels down the fallopian tube to the Uterus. And it is very common now for girls/women who are ovulating to experience some vaginal bleeding that can be unfortunately mistaken for a period.Sometimes ovulation can actually occur before the bleeding from a girl’s/woman’s period has stopped. Or it may occur within a few days after her period has finished. In both of these cases, having sex before the period has finished or just after it has finished, can result in pregnancy.

Having unprotected sex at any time including when you’ve got your period is incredibly risky. Along with the risk of becoming pregnant, there is also the risk of getting a
sexually transmitted disease, such as Chlamydia, genital warts, or HIV (AIDS). The only surefire and safest way to prevent pregnancy and/or STD’s is abstinence!

Now we would be rather unrealistic to expect this to be the case, so if you are going to take part in sexual relations with your partner, use a CONDOM! Or in the best case scenario - first of all, make sure you both get checked out by the Doctor so you have a clear bill of health. And then if all is clear, make sure you use some form of contraceptive or protection to stop you from receiving an unexpected surprise (or nightmare!).

I was asked earlier today this question, and I knew the answer, but of course we always want to make sure and research it before we answer. So here it is, I guess you can!!!

Early Risk Assessment

Is there a way to obtain risk assessment earlier in pregnancy?Yes. We call this ERA which stands for Early Risk Assessment. ERA is performed between 11.5-14 weeks and involves an ultrasound to measure the nuchal translucency (the fluid in the back of the neck of the fetus). At the same time, a maternal blood sample is obtained. Based on a combination of the mother’s age, the size of the nuchal translucency and the levels of the two proteins (free beta hCG and PAPP-A) in maternal blood, the probability for Down syndrome is calculated, similar to second trimester risk assessment. ERA is followed by an ultrasound after 16 weeks to look for structural abnormalities

The nuchal translucency is typically very tiny, only 1 to 2 mm. It takes special training and expertise to make this measurement accurately. The Fetal Medicine Foundation has played a leading role in standardizing the precise way this measurement should be made and interpreted. They provide certification to those who have had additional training, have demonstrated the ability to make this measurement to their satisfaction, and submit their data on a regular basis for ongoing analysis and quality review. We feel that only when the nuchal translucency is measured by someone with Certification by the Fetal Medicine Foundation can you be confident that the calculated risk of Down syndrome is accurate.

How does ERA compare to second trimester risk assessment? Since ERA is earlier than second trimester risk assessment, and most women get reassuring news, they will be reassured several weeks earlier. Women who choose to have an amnio can have it done at 15 weeks, the same gestational age as those who go directly to amnio. We think ERA provides an estimate of risk of both Down syndrome and other chromosome abnormalities that is a bit more accurate than either the triple screen or the quad screen. Finally, measurement of nuchal translucency will occasionally provide an indication of a structural or genetic problem.

Can you combine ERA with second trimester risk assessment? This is a very complex issue. To do this properly, we would have to withhold the information from ERA until after the second trimester screening results are back. This defeats the major advantage of ERA, earlier diagnosis. Therefore, we recommend that women who choose ERA do not have second trimester serum screening.

Occasionally there are findings on the ultrasound done after 16 weeks that make us reconsider the need for amniocentesis.

What are the drawbacks of ERA? They include the drawbacks of second trimester risk assessment: only after an amniocentesis can we be certain that the fetus does not have Down syndrome or any other chromosomal abnormality. In addition, second trimester risk assessment has been in use longer in the United States, and is considered the “standard of care” by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Although ERA is somewhat newer, it has been used for several years in Europe, and recent American studies have confirmed the European experience. ERA requires registration for prenatal care prior to 14 weeks. Some people are concerned about the cost of additional ultrasounds, and that sufficient expertise for measurement of the nuchal translucency is not widely available.

ERA does not screen for many structural abnormalities, including spina bifida. Therefore, we urge all women who have been screened by ERA to have a second trimester structural survey after 16 weeks. We feel that this makes serum AFP screening for abnormalities like spina bifida unnecessary. Although there are some birth defects that can be detected by second trimester AFP screening but be missed by ultrasound, these are exceedingly uncommon

The cruise we took a few years ago was through Affordable trip by Global travel. Their offers are pretty darn reasonable and we were on our way to the best vacation ever. I still can’t forget my Christmas at the Dominican Republic, we were at the beach and the water was crystal clear, the sun was beaming on the water but still the water was so refreshing. I tell you, I gotta save a few more dollars, but once I have enough, I want to repeat that experience again. The girls absolutely loved it. They would go to the bartenders and they would always come up with some new “virgin” drink for them. It made them feel so special. I tell you, we all felt special and I would do it all the time if I had the dough. *he he*, but I know we’ll get to do it again soon.

Ashlyn a model?

Ashlyn is really photogenic and just asked me if she can model when she’s 18. I told her if that’s what she would like of course she can. Anyways, I thought this picture of her was so cute and the way her eyes look I was just amazed. She’s such a cutie, and I’m not just saying that because she’s my little girl.

I truly believe she can make it if she puts her effort to it. Who knows maybe my baby will be the “America’s Next Top Model”!!! This way she could bring in the bacon. Ahahahaha, but on the serious side, she does want to be a vet since she loves animals to death, and she also wants to study “forensic science”. You know I’m backing my baby up 100%!

Recall on Charity bracelets

This really concerned me because working in the hospital my coworkers and I have gotten this gorgeous little charity bracelets. Upon reading this I thought it would be helpful to share the story. I know there are tons of people who have purchased these and a little awareness would definitely be of great help. Please read the following, this might pertain to you or your family. Great head’s up for everyone!

By Jenn Abelson, Globe Staff September 21, 2007
The Friends of Mel Foundation, a local cancer charity that has raised more than $1 million for Massachusetts General Hospital by selling bracelets, today recalled about 200,000 of the beaded jewelry sold over the past two years because they contain high levels of lead. The foundation tested the bracelets last week after receiving an email that a 9-month-old boy apparently ingested lead from a bracelet.

Independent lab tests conducted on various bracelets by Massachusetts Materials Research Inc. showed that the multicolored beads contain no lead, but that the small silver-toned rings connecting the beads have a high lead content. The beads are from China and Turkey and the small rings are from China, according to Jackie Herskovitz, a foundation spokeswoman. Friends of Mel said the foundation was misled by a Chinese supplier, Ningbo Metal Manufacturing, who had promised in writing before signing a contract that the silver-toned rings did not contain lead. Ningbo could not be reached for comment late Friday evening.“The organization feels like they were lied to and were given bad product,” Herskovitz said. “It’s such a shame.”

Nancy Sterling, another foundation spokeswoman, could not identify the foreign supplier and said Friends of Mel has been unable to contact the family of the boy who had lead poisoning, but has reached out to the person who forwarded the e-mail. Sterling said the e-mail noted the boy was “doing well” but she did not have any information on whether he had been hospitalized.
The disclosure is the latest in a series of massive recalls in recent months, including more than 19 million toys, because of high levels of lead। Last year, Canton sneaker maker Reebok International Ltd. recalled more than 300,000 charm bracelets after one was linked to the lead-poisoning death of a 4-year-old in Minnesota. The bracelets, which were manufactured in China, were offered as gifts with the purchase of some children’s footwear.

Please if you own one of these bracelets, make sure you get checked out by your primary physician. Just to be on the safe side!!!

Clothing Tags should be Illegal!

Clothing tags annoy me to the point that most of my blouses, t-shirts, sweatshirts, sweaters, pants, panties, anything you name it, have holes on them. I seriously have ripped expensive blouses because I get anxiety and rip them off.

Sometimes at work I have my co-workers cut them with the scissors, lol. But really, they do annoy me so much. I notice a few lines coming out with tag less, but then some of them put the tag on the side of your waist, what’s up with that?? If you’re going to make it tag less, KEEP IT THAT WAY!

Does anyone have these issues? Or is it just me, lol. Clothes should be comfortable, not a pain in the butt if you ask me. I say do away with tags permanentlyor I’m starting my own clothing line!!!

Stuffy or fresh air?

I think I need a breath of fresh air right now. It’s a bit stuffy in my living room and my cats keep fighting and hissing; what’s up with that? It was my day back to work today, it was ok, but not great. People complained as usual even though we weren’t that behind as usual. I think the most we’ve been delayed at our office has been 3 hours. Now that’s a long wait. Today the doctor was only an hour behind, and we still had complainers.

Oh well, you can’t ever please everyone you know. I took the girls to their primary care yesterday and believe it or not, we waited 3 hours. The one thing that kept me from not noticing it was that long was the fact that they had a cute little television with my favorite channel on. Need to take a long time to guess what channel that is? Yes, it’s “lifetime”. Indeed my favorite channel, and I wish that my office budget will be good enough to get a plasma television so I can have my patient’s watch lifetime all day!! I guess it will keep them from complaining for a while, but not for too-too long. Well, I guess I will go to bed now, I’m done with my paid blogging and I’ve exercised my rights as a mother by TELLING THESE GIRLS TO GO TO BED EARLY!! SCHOOL STARTED YOU KNOW, AND THAT’S WHEN I GET TO BE “THE BAD GUY” as they point me to be.

Oh well, they’ll get over it. It’s a bit chilly out there tonight and to think we’re still in early September and it’s cool out there. It depresses me to know that fall is just days around the corner and it depresses me even more to know that “winter” is not far either. Ok, I’m going to bed now. Sleep tight my friends. OMG it’s already morning. Yikes and I have to start work at 7:30. Bye

Memorial Day

I got to admit that today was the worse day I’ve had in months. I was celebrating Yessie’s Birthday with the family and the girls were just acting like toddlers. Basically like two “terrible two’s toddlers”. I mean seriously, there was just arguments between both of them to the point where they both went fist to fist as if they were in a boxing match. Can you believe it? My two teenage daughters acting like two spoiled brats. I had a couple of guests that were simply acquaintances other than the family, and all I have to say is that I was “disgusted” with both of them. Specially Yessie having turned 18!!! For crying out loud.

I decided to let go of the moment and have them solve it on their own. I think sometimes we need to allow our teenagers to discuss it amongst themselves, but when it comes to them getting physical, that’s when I need to butt in!! Which I did, hehe and let me tell you, these girls had no cell phones, no tv, no radio, no friends, no computer. Basically all the amenities you can imagine were taken away for almost two weeks.

My dear teenage girls, would you take a moment to think of your childish behaviors. Outrageously, I’m shocked and still to this day shocked at my daughter’s outburst in front of company. I tell you, if those two weeks didn’t make a difference, i will crack down more if they dare to make it a “next time”.

Sometimes I feel the need to communicate with other parents like me because indeed it’s a hard road to manage being a single parent and all. I have to say, I have done an excellent job under the circumstances, but I want to improve even more my parental techniques. I feel as though now is when they really need the guidance and structure. I tell you, I will do whatever it takes to help my girls be the future admirable and well educated people I know they can be.

New pet for YESASH

I think I want to bring another pet to the house. My fiancé is in love with animals and the girls love pets too. I was thinking more of a dog, but I’m afraid no one will want to walk it.

They already have two cats and a hamster so I’m not bringing in another cat. The girls seemed in love with these couple of Ferrets that we saw at PETCO.

I heard Ferrets are a big smelly and messy, I’m not sure how true this is since people have their own opinions. We’ll see, I think I’m not sure which way I’ll go, but I’m sure whichever way it is, the girls will absolutely love the new addition to the family. Feel free to comment if you have any suggestions. I really want to get creative too, but not as creative as getting a pet lizzard or snake. You know how girls tend to be, but I'm sure it will end up being a pet Hamster....

Easy way OUT!

People are usually looking for the easy way out of things. I ran into my friend Angel this morning and he created himself a monter! He was trying to drive his car with a flat tire until he made it to the mechanic instead of just replacing the tire himself. Next thing you know it I found him on Day Street in Jamaica Plain, MA with his tire caught on fire.

He could’ve really caused some major damage and maybe even death. The tire that caught on fire was the left rear one, right under the gas tank. He really dissapointed me by this, he not only put himself in danger, but others as well.

People need to think of things rationally before just thinking of saving time and energy. This could’ve really gotten out of hand, and he could’ve been responsible for his life or someone elses.

Napping: Sweet Dreams

I think when we do have them Sweet Dreams we are just so refreshed in the mornings. A week ago Saturday, I couldn’t sleep during the night time. It made it extremely difficult for me to get up early to bring my oldest to work, but I did. I had gotten a coffee and still I was lacking sleep. I was going on a couple of errands with my baby cousin, but she delayed it until the afternoon.

After taking a nice shower and washing my hair and knowing that my cousin and I were going out later in the day, I decided to try and take a quick nap. Wow, I tell ya…. After a couple of hours of napping, I felt so refreshed. I was able to go out with my cousin do the errands and I still had tons of energy for more activities which I did enjoy throughout the afternoon and evening.

Needless to say, If you do not catch up on your Z's you will be very MISERABLE and SLEEPY; it’s just NO FUN at all!!!

I'm All Set

My opinion of I’m all set is when someone is comfortable with where they are in life. When they have achieved all their goals, dreams and aspirations. To be an independent and successful individual and possess a powerful mind and be able to initiate leadership and have people follow you because of your talents, uniqueness and caring personality to all human kind.

Win $100.00 for the person who most creatively describes in their own words what I’m All Set means? Run time: 1 Sept - 15 Sept 2007. Post all your comments to the thread.

Did you all know I won $100 from this contest!!!!

bills, bills, bills and where's the "Sweet life"?

I think I was born to be rich and have all the amenities I could imagine of, but sometimes I feel as though would that change the person I am today? Sometimes I feel as though I shouldn’t be struggling so much, I should be financially set and living in my own home with a circular driveway, but how the heck will I ever make it to the sweet life, if all I keep doing is paying my way towards living on a month to month basis?

The sweet life isn’t all that it’s put out to be sometimes I feel as though I work my ass off for nothing. To simply pay off bills and live in an apartment with no amenities what so ever.

If you ask me, I’m a bit tired of living by every check. I want to make something out of the normal daily routine, but it’s just so damn hard you know especially when you have kids and one of those kids is actually so close to college and driving to be more exact! So I figure when she gets her license that will be another monthly expense to put her on my insurance, and then to be more accurate it will be another bigger expense to fill her gas tank too.

Now.. If you ask me, when will the sweet life start heading my way? I mean seriously it seems like it’s only going to get worse financially speaking, but I know I will be able to manage, but then I feel as my dreams of my circular driveway or living in a beautiful home with a picket fence and a dog to wander around the yard is not so close at all. I wonder if my closing my eyes and clicking my heels together I can make it all come true.

Yessie's Sweet Goodbye

You’re leaving soon,
And you know we’ll all be missing you,
We won’t have you as a teacher any longer,
But we know you’ll have other kids that will love you to death,
they will never love you as much as us,
You have taught us so much,
And for that we will be forever greatful,
You’re an angel,
And were so lucky to have you,
Not only as a teacher,
But as our friend,
We will never forget you,
I hope you never forget us,
And if we happen to slip your mind,
Turn on the copacabana,
And you’ll remember us,
And how much fun we had with you,
Nobody can measure up to you,
I hope you have fun,All the rest of your life,
You will always have a place in our heart

Drunk Driving Accident

One time, my girlfriend and I went clubbing to a very popular club called Vincent’s. We walked out of there TRASHED! I was so messed up, I had no idea were my car was. After finding it, for one second only, I thought maybe I shouldn’t be driving, but of course another part of me thought, sure, I’m fine! And so we headed on home, shoes thrown to the back seat, and off we went. Now, if you ask me how my driving was or how I got us home that morning, I still have no clue whatsoever. Guys, I couldn’t remember what route, or how the hell we got home.

The one thing I know is that we got home safe. Now a day I call this type of behavior, SELFISH and just plain STUPID!!

January 18, 2002 was an evening like any other. It was about seven, I was just relaxing after a long days work. That night, I received the most FRIGHTENING of calls, My sister yelling and screaming against my ear. My nerves just didnt know how to function or react. After some screams back & forth, I found out my parents were in a MAJOR CAR ACCIDENT. FIREMEN had been struggling to get my dad who was caved in the car out. The FIREMEN feared the worse, since my dads’ car had been smoking.

Getting to the scene of the accident must have been no more than 10 minutes. Unfortunately, those were the longest 10 minutes of my life. Fearing the worse is what one does in this case. When we got to the scene of the accident, I had to argue back & forth with the cops. I wanted to go see my parents and aide to their needs. I wasn’t allowed to go see my parents; this made it incredibly difficult for myself, as well as my children.

Later that night, we got to the hospital were both my parents were taken to. I was able to see my mom and assist her as much as possible. Course, I couldn’t help her much in her 3 FRACTURED RIBS, CUTS, BLEEDING & MAJOR BRUISINGS. I feared the worse for my dad. I was told he was in worse shape than my mom. Fortunately, after learning my dad had 4 BROKEN RIBS, LEFT BROKEN CLAVICLE BONE (shoulder), BROKEN RIGHT LEG, SHATTERED RIGHT HEEL IN 5 PLACES, AND SOME MAJOR BRUISING & needed a 4 hour surgery, I was happy & Thankful because God allowed them to live through it. God gave us the strength & faith to guide each other through it all.

This was the act of a DRUNK DRIVER. A person who knew what they were doing, aware of it, allowed himself in front of a wheel and endangered 2 human beings, who because of his negligent act, caused them so much damage. My parents will always suffer pain because of this irresponsible person. Not only are they suffering internal & external pain, but emotional as well. My moms fear of driving a car or just panicking every time some one cuts us off in traffic is permanent and unfortunately inevitable. The loss of both their jobs, and the state denying them for help has been very difficult. The fact that my dad had to learn how to walk like an infant & hasn’t walked or felt the same ever since has been hard on all of us. Even though the hardship, I am still so very thankful to God for allowing them to LIVE & be the PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, UNCLE & AUNT, BROTHER & SISTER, & FRIENDS they are today. My friends, after going through all this and still having difficulties on this road of recovery, I beg you, DO NOT DRINK & DRIVE.

As you can see, it not only places your life at risk, but the lives of others. A Father, a Mother, a Baby, Young Children, Young adults, Elderly, your Best Friend, Your Mother, Your Father, your Husband, Your Wife or your own Son or Daughter, could end up CRITICAL or unfortunately DEAD. Is it worth it?

I’m grateful that this person didnt take my parents lives, even though he was so close to it. Next time you’re out clubbing, having the greatest time of your life, keep it that way. Take a cab or call a friend. Do anything other than placing yourself in front of that wheel. The money you spend on a CAB can be the BEST expenditure of that night. See, my girlfriend and I were lucky that one time. Did I have an Angel looking out for us? Ill never know. I am Thankful for getting us home safe. I am also thankful for the different mentality I now have. I will never take a wheel under the influence again. I will never ever risk my life or the lives of others.

The following are real pictures of my parents’ vehicle after the crash. I still get stomach ache & nerves when I see them: If by this hour of typing and putting this little section together helps save one life, I feel most rewarded.

I was so dehydrated I got ADMITTED....

I was at the emergency room yesterday due to dehydration. They poked me all over my arms and couldn’t find my veins. I usually have bad veins, but this time around due to my dehydrated state it turned out to be worse. My veins really disappeared and the poking became unbearable even though I had to deal with it. The third nurse was able to find a good vein and Bingo!! I was able to start my re-hydration. I can’t believe how awful I felt from lack of oxygen and fluids in my body.

Can you believe sometimes you get symptoms that really aren’t similar to those of dehydration? Yep, I felt neck stiffness, dizziness and headache. Seriously I thought I should’ve felt thirsty and somewhat lightheaded, but what really surprised me was the “sunken eyes”. Sunken eyes are one of the symptoms of dehydration. The neck stiffness was due to my head ache. I immediately felt better as soon as the IV released through my veins, it was amazing.

I spent about a day and some hours, and then I was released. I feel as though I should walk around with a jug of pedialyte or some propel all the time since I have this issue allot. I don’t think I’m alone in this since a few folks were there for the same issues, but whether the reasons were the same, that I really can‘t say.

I do wonder if my dieting has anything to do with this, but I think I lost about 50 lbs just on body liquids. I really wouldn't like to loose weight like that, it's was really scary.

No Idea

I do have to say, I love my job. I get appreciated on a daily basis, and seriously it really does make a diffrence. It's a great feeling and it actually makes it more pleasing to get ready in the mornings and go to work.

A couple of days ago; a patient comes in 20 minutes late, I explained she was 20 minutes late and that our policy is-20 minutes late, you reschedule the patient. I told her I would ask the doctor if she'd be able to fit her in.

The doctor was nice enought to squeeze her into the busy afternoon. I was pleased to inform the patient that she would be seen, but that it would definitely be a wait since the doctor was in with the next patient. Interestingly, the patient had a fit! She snaps at me asking me "how much of a wait are we talking about?" I answered as polite as I could; "Ma'am, the doctor is nice enough to fit you in, but of course she's seeing the next patient, I'm really not sure and I can't guess how long you would have to wait". She seemed upset, but really there was not much I could say to her, I was actually upset she was having trouble accepting the wait, when she was 20 minutes late!! I mean, it was not our fault she missed her appointment time. Anyways, I told her to have a seat in the waiting room and that she would be called.

Later on that afternoon, this same patient walks into my office and interrupts my speaking to one of my co-workers. This kind of irritated me, since it's the same lady that was giving me grief earlier, but I was patient enough and listened to what she had to say. I was pretty surprised when she started apologizing to me. She was explaining how it was not nice of her to take all her frustations out on me. She also explained, I'm not there to take disrespect from patients and proceeded to apologize a few more times. I was very pleased at the fact that she was nice enough to accept her mistake.

This was really pleasing to me. I felt valued and respected at this point. I then knew I wasn't being mean or non-understanding at all. The patient was just frustrated and let her anger take over.

The rest of the day was a breeze. That little moment of value and appreciation was nice. It made me understand that I was right at not getting more upset at the patient for lashing out on me because eventually she was able to admit to her mistake.

Sometimes you just have to keep your cool. In the end it works out-of course sometimes it doesn't. That moment though will stay with me for a few months I guess. It will allow me to be a better person at understanding.

Where's the Respect

Today I finally notice that people have no respect for each other anymore. I been battling for nearly a month now with the next door fellas because they keep blocking my f'ing driveway. Seriously, when you live in the CITY you need to have RESPECT!

I mean, people SLASH TIRES, BREAK WINDOWS, basically they just don't care to VANDALIZE you car in an INSTANT for complaining. It's why I been more than tolerable these days. Trying not to cause myself a heart ATTACK, but people just push you too far sometimes to the point where you just say F* IT! You take charge of the situations and START YELLING AND KICKING EVERYTHING infront of you.

So.... I been telling these young'ns to lay off the driveway back and forth-yadda yadda and for the love of GOD they just don't get the HINT!

CLEARLY today I think I made my frustrations CLEAR---I HOPE... I nearly kicked their damn SPRAY PAINT CANS to the side. How dare you paint your DAMN CAR in front of other people's DRIVE WAY??? WTF is wrong with people these days? Didn't parent's teach this folks MANNERS?? RESPECT?? anyways, the hell with this---I'm taking a shower aside of all this NONSENSE---It's like 95 degrees outside and HUMID!!! GROSS...

Weight SUCKS!

The kids want summer to get here so quick, but I’m really not sure if I’m ready. I need to loose about 30 lbs and I can’t think of being in a bathing suit without loosing those pesky pounds. Is that not insane or what? I mean wanting to slow the season because of your weight! Yeah, I know I’m a bit silly about this, but I truly can’t see it being summer yet.

So this is what I’m doing to fix the problem in question. I bought this water bubbler to keep at my desk. This unique little bubbler holds exactly 8 cups of water. Cool huh? I’m starting to walk more than usual and try to increase my exercising to more than just walking. I used to jog and now I feel as though I lost my motivation. I will motivate myself in hopes of reaching my goal before those nice 90 degree days get here!!!
Wish me luck…

Not all jobs are for everyone

My sister works with special needs children , teens and adults. I give her allot of props because she does have it difficult at times. First of all she works everyday of the week and she’s on call on weekends if she happens to have the weekend off.

Meanwhile yesterday she came home and her whole face was scratched and bruised from one outraged teen’s outburst. I was beside myself when I saw her face. It just seemed like she was in a fight at some bar and not at her place of employment. She has such a great heart and I was so upset that she had to go through this, but then it dawned on me that she wasn’t upset. She was understanding about it and wasn’t even upset at all. When I asked her why she wasn’t the least bit upset, she answered; “they just don’t know any better”. I then realized that it’s true and that’s why all of them are in the institution.

The institution my sister works for needs more understanding employees like my sister. That even though the toughest of experiences, they will understand and be there for them without getting angry or taking it out on them in some form or way.

I don’t think I would’ve gone back to work if I was employed there. I just can’t see myself having to restrain someone because they are uncontrollably lashing out. I’ve worked in the healthcare department for 12 years, but I’ve never had to restrain a patient. I do feel as though people like my sister should be appreciated more often for their dedication and understanding with whom they deal with on a daily basis. They should also be compensated in better ways than just salaries.

My little girl Apple

This is titi’s little precious “Angel”. Her real name is Brianna Adela Newton, a.k.a “APPLE”. The day little “Apple” was born, we were so excited we stopped at the store and brought her little dresses and cute baby stuff. It’s always nice to buy for baby girls, everything is sooooo cute!!!

Upon arriving at the hospital, we met this beautiful little princess. I noticed her wearing this cute little “apple” hat. It was so curious because all babies had a stripe hat except for Brianna. She was so red and then the hat was red too, my sis and I came up with the “she looks like an apple”, lmaoooo….., so you see my friends, that’s where the name “Apple” came from. A simple little hat gave this little girl a unique little name.

Apple is learning to say so many things. You know she’s almost 2, oh my god, the terrible 2’s.. The other day my sister, apple’s mom and I were sitting joking around. I accidentally slipped a small “swear word” and immediately, Apple yelled it out!!! Gosh, she said it so perfectly too. ehe, he he. She’s too cute I tell ya.

Apple loves to talk on the phone. Everytime you call her mother, God forgive you don’t ask to speak to her…… She would have a fit!—little personality girl eh?
I told Ely—one day, I’m going to steal little baby Apple from her….
My little baby girl, titi loves you so much…….

My girls

I’m here to express myself to everyone. I like to learn from the world and also teach what I’ve learned. I have 2 daughters which are teens. So that said, I definitely have allot to speak about. It is wonderful to have my girls around. They entertain me allot with all their experiences, boyfriends, school.

All of their stunts too amaze me everyday, and I love to write about it. It’s nice to share to wonderful experiences I go through on a daily basis with my girls. Or just with my life alone, I should write a book!!

I also like to meet new individuals and share ideas. I like to write and enhance my ability to entertain my readers.

By the way friends, Happy April Fool’s Day.
